I have a good 10 minute walk over sidewalks between two of the classes I teach and have been using it for 3 months. Here is my evaluation:Good Very spacious inside compartment The top folds over twice, then the handle sticks through the two flaps and it clicks shut with two buckles. Large front pocket, fits my netbook. Smaller "organizer pocket" in front for pens, pencil. Very stable, the wide stance means it does not tip over easily. With handle down it is stable standing on its own. Handle is sturdy. The biggest compartment is very stiff, so it is easy to root around in it and look for stuff. Bad: The file folder holders (which are detachable) are useless. You can hang maybe 3 file folders on them, they always come off and they take up a lot of room. The downside of that bag was lugging it around. Usually I would put the laptop in the filing pocket and carry books in the other side. A bag is very personal to me, almost as personal as the laptop itself, and frequently used if not daily. It has to do the job. This new Solo case has one outstanding feature--the wheels and handle. I had a lot of trouble carrying the previous bag with lots of contents--it was too heavy, hard to pick up and put down, and the shoulder pad on the strap was shredding after a while (little black specks of rubber on my shirt). This new bag at first turned me off due to the bulk and the "squarishness," but I am getting used to it.
