I like the appearance and material. Seems well made. Too bad it's not water proof, but I knew that when I ordered it from Amazon and is the only reason I do not give it 5 stars. Otherwise, I think it is a good small pack for the price. I filled mine with general emergency/survival gear to keep in the closet and just toss in the back of the SUV. Easily holds a first aid kit, small flashlight, Gerber Prodigy Survival Knife, waterproof matches, light sticks, paracord, etc. Can stick a couple of water bottles (one on each side) in it as well. Still has room for other gear or rations for a couple of days.
